Your key, your account

You stay in charge of your ElevenLabs key

Sharing a key is a matter of trust, so here is exactly what happens to it.

  • Used only to talk to ElevenLabs. Your key loads your voices and creates your audio. That is all it is used for.
  • Keys and scripts are not logged. We do not write your key, your script or your audio to our logs.
  • Downloads are temporary. Your files are held only long enough for you to download them, then deleted automatically.
  • A secure connection, always. The site is HTTPS only, and you pay ElevenLabs directly for your audio.

Things people ask us first

Why not just use ElevenLabs Studio?

If you want to produce a finished audiobook or video inside ElevenLabs, Studio is excellent and you should use it.

ScriptVoiceStudio is for people who edit somewhere else. Paste your script and get one MP3 per paragraph, named and numbered in order, ready to drop into Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or your course platform. Need to change paragraph 14? Regenerate that one file and swap it in.

There is no timeline to learn. Same voices, same ElevenLabs account, same audio.

What does "bring your own key" mean?

You connect your own ElevenLabs API key, which is a kind of password that lets ScriptVoiceStudio ask ElevenLabs to create audio for you. ElevenLabs bills your account for the audio. Your subscription here covers the tool, not the audio credits.

What do I need from ElevenLabs?

An ElevenLabs account with API access and enough credits for your script. The voices you see in ScriptVoiceStudio are the ones available in your ElevenLabs account.

How long can my script be?

Up to 200 audio files in one go and 5,000 characters per paragraph. For longer projects, run a second batch and set the starting number so the file names carry on in sequence.

Can I get one long file instead of separate clips?

Yes. Tick "Combine into one MP3" and the clips are joined in script order with a short pause between paragraphs.

Can I cancel?

Of course. Cancel any time before your next billing date from your account page, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
